Bowling Green Pregnancy Center is a nonprofit, pro-life, Christian organization. We desire to help women and children in regards to crisis pregnancies. We offer positive alternatives to abortion and offer to walk beside women as they choose to give life to their babies. We also recognize the hurt involved with an abortion and offer loving care and support to those who have experienced an abortion.

There are many ways you can support the Bowling Green Pregnancy Center as we extend a helping hand to those in need.

volunteeropportunities

Our volunteers are essential to keeping the BGPC operating. We often need people to help with our bulk mailings, organization of our Hope Chest, or fundraisers.

counseling

Our volunteer peer counselors receive 25 hours of training and six weeks of orientation in the office before they start seeing clients. They see the women who come in for pregnancy tests and then follow up with those clients to varying degrees, depending on the need.

transportation We occasionally have a client that needs transportation to appointments. As we stress how important prenatal care is, we like to be able to help clients in this area. It is usually an occasional ride every now and then, but sometimes we have a need for regular weekly rides.
boardofdirectors

Our Board of Directors is made up of volunteers from all walks of life. They oversee the major operations of the Center during monthly board meetings. They are a working board that also gets involved in fund raisers and other activities.

If you are interested in any of the above opportunities to volunteer, please contact us at bgpc@wcnet.org or [354-4673].
